There has been a lot of world building in this series. I'm hoping that when/if they come back to this that we can jump into the meat of the story a little faster since the foundation has been laid here.

I'm hoping that now that they have established this time period, and established these characters that the next series will be more action packed.

I'm still reading, I have come to like this little notch in the timeline DOTJ has carved out.

Issue 3 stepped it up a little, after taking a month off. Awesome use of the the Slashrats, it was nice to see a visual of them after hearing all about them in the first Dark Tide book. Swords just look so weird in SW, but tis the times of the past

I'm kinda curious what Xesh's angle is in this. Right now he's just going along to get along, but his alliance with Lok is pretty tenuous.

I'm also wondering if the Rakata are going to come in and start a massive war in the system.

I think they ate building to that way, but Xesh is going to be one of the good guts by then. He'll fall I'm galactic love with Shae Koda and while he'll have a momentary waver with his loyalties when the Rakata get there he will eventually stand as a defender. Seknos will join Trill and we'll Weiner in his loyalties for awhile, but perhaps that winds up brunt how the species becomes associated with the Sith empire. The Rakata will fall and we'll enjoy the story. It's a story that is semi-easy to predict but I'll admit it's a good one.

It does feel like a very big story to wrap up in just 2 more issues, with war being on the horizon. I actually haven't read the first DOTJ arc (comic shop has them all, but I'm waiting for a sale) but is this the Lightsaber origin story too? Now that Ostrander has wrapped up his 2 currents I wonder if DH will try to squeeze another few in before the SW comic implosion?

Well we have Darth Vader and the Ninth Assassin coming out, so we'll get that mini-series at least. I think we'll be fine with comics, if nothing else we'll get a few more Dawn of the Jedi arcs. I would love for it to hit 100 issues or so as long as the quality stays up.
